Teoh Zhi Heng

After graduating from my studies, I want to be a professional engineer, especially exploring the ever-exiting aviation field. From young, I am highly passionate in this field and longed to be a pilot as always. The weakness of my vision causes me to lose the opportunity to be a pilot, but nonetheless my passion wards aviation to live within. Though I may not have the opportunity, I still hold up with my dream. My mission is to utilize skillsets I’m equipped with by contributing in the aviation industries after my studies, especially being involved in enhancing the aircraft performances. It is the personal mission that keep my goals up high, and to improve myself in various ways. Like what Chris Hadfield said, “Focus on the journey, not the destination”, and this inspired me to enjoy and focus on doing what I am capable of. Being in an engineering field involves lots of critical thinking, which extends my knowledge beyond what I have. Also, I’ve did my internship in a reputable company, Daikin, which equipped me with extensive skills and widen my horizon being in the workforce. Holding strong communication and leadership skills ever since being involved with various of projects in University, grant me the confidence of contributing in the engineering society in the near future.
